We’re proud to introduce a new training group in Eastern Senegal. Colin Stevens, normally associated with our award-winning work in Malawi, was delighted to be asked to work with a team of villagers, keen to use film as a way of helping their community and others in the region which is affected greatly by climate change and lack of information services about health, agriculture and civil rights.
Here are just some of the pictures of the three week camera training that took place in Jan/Feb 2017. Kambein filmed a civil rights film as part of their training with Colin – the need for birth registration certificates to avoid complications and expense later in life. We will be uploading that soon.
