“Mbeu Yosintha” (Seeds of Change)

We have had confirmation from the producers and the director that the title of our new film will be “Mbeu Yosintha”.

Just before the team left Malawi, they had an official showing of the new film to the village where much of the filming took place. The results were very good and it gave Colin, the director, and the team a chance to say thank you properly to the villagers.

The film is now being made ready for the official launch in February 2014. But for those who cannot wait, the director has released a trailer.

We’re amazed and gratified that it has all come together so well and looking forward to seeing the final product soon.

All Good Things …

Our intrepid film-makers finish up this weekend. Colin and Nick will be returning home on Sunday; Tim and Ronit will be staying on for a couple of weeks to explore beautiful Malawi, the warm heart of Africa.

Last week, the team had an impromptu test screening in the village. The people were amazed and excited to have a film in their local language. Since then, Ronit has been tweaking – adjusting the film to ensure that it is makes sense to the local people and that it get its message to them clearly.
